With Nokia’s annual conference kicking off tomorrow, what can we expect from Nokia World 2009? Last week we saw the official unveiling of not one, not two, but three new devices. Expect the Nokia 5230, Nokia Booklet 3G andNokia N900 to feature heavily at Nokia World ‘09 as the features go under the microscope. Particularly interesting will be how Nokia plan to introduce Maemo as an operating system to the masses. But these three products aside, can we expect anything else from the Finnish manufacturer? Surely they’ve got something up their sleeve to wow the crowds in Stuttgart?Well, the yet-to-be-officially-unveiled Nokia N97 Mini looks to be a dead cert. With more product leaks than you can shake a stick at and news slipping from credible sources such as Vodafone, the N97’s little brother looks set to become official tomorrow. Expect to find out all the official specs, dimensions and, perhaps most importantly, price of the Mini as soon as tomorrow. There’s also the matter of the Nokia 5900 XpressMusic, the proposed successor to the 5800. Rumoured to feature a 5.0 Megapixel camera, 3.5 inch touchscreen display and the same RAM and processing power as the N97, the 5900 should take the fight to top of the rangemusic phones.
Finally, will Nokia World see the first public appearance of the Nokia Xseries and Cseries? Cast your minds back to July and you’ll recall that Nokia were caught red handed acquiring trademarks for two new ranges in the shape of the aforementioned Xseries and Cseries. And that really is all we know. Whether Nokia plan to announce specific handsets or just outline their intentions for the two new line ups, Nokia World seems like the perfect time and place to do so. With Nokia World kicking off tomorrow and ending on Thursday, keep your eyes on the Blog and we’ll keep you clued up on all the latest news.
