High Tech Computer (HTC) has launched its new Android-based smartphone, the HTC Wildfire, in the Taiwan market in cooperation with 3G carrier Taiwan Mobile. The NT$11,900 (US$372) suggested retail price is the lowest introductory price thus far for the company's Android lineup.
The HTC Wildfire comes with a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen and 5-megapixel camera. In the coming months, the smartphone will hit the stores in Hong Kong, India, Southeast Asia, Australia and South Korea.
